Educational and Informational Webinars for Pastors and Lay Leaders
The American Baptist Churches of Michigan presents a series of free one-hour webinars led by Region pastors. You are welcome to attend any one or all four of the webinars from the convenience of your own PC. However you must register separately for each of the webinars you wish to attend. Each of the webinars consists of 30-45 minutes of presentation on the subject matter, followed by 15-20 minutes of “open mic” so that attendees can ask questions or share in the discussion. Registration links are provided below. Contact Ron Cary for more information at rcary@abc-mi.org
Thinking About a Church Health Assessment?
The beginning of a new year is a good time to consider a church health assessment which can provide you with a clearer set of priorities for mission and ministry. Identifying and understanding strengths and weaknesses in current church life can assist the church in more effective planning and ministry engagement.
The Region provides a number of assessment tools and opportunities, some of which can be led by pastors and lay-leaders, and others which are helped along by a Region Consultant. Here are a few possibilities. Contact Ron Cary for more information (1-800-636-2671 / rcary@abc-mi.org).
ABC-MI Seeks Input on "Adaptive Challenges"
ABC-MI Region Board invites all Region churches and leaders to respond to a survey to communicate and prioritize adaptive challenges facing local churches. The survey will also identify two adaptive challenges for ministry upon which ABC-MI will concentrate resources.
